Annie Xu has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Engineering.

Annie loves working with children and is passionate about arousing children's curiosity and interest in other cultures and languages. Annie enjoys providing opportunities for children to learn Mandarin and Chinese culture in a fun way.

 

Also, she believes that; "Every child deserves a champion - an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best they can possibly be." - Rita Pearson.

What made you decide to join St Mary’s?

 

St Mary's Pre-school is full of character and charm with beautiful external grounds and a huge internal space. A lot of time and effort goes into creating learning opportunities for young minds to engage in and explore. Teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. I am very proud to join the team full of love and care.

What do you look forward to most each day?

I look forward to providing the best support for young minds. To see them happy while growing and learning based on their interests and needs. Rather than 'teaching' them, I am more eager to 'grow with them' by sharing my love and knowledge.
